In their final game before the WNBA’s break for the All-Star Game and Olympics, the Minnesota Lynx took on the Atlanta Dream. It was the fifth straight game for the Lynx without MVP candidate Napheesa Collier since her injuring her left foot against the Connecticut Sun on July 4.
It was a tightly contested game all the way through with no team taking a lead of more than six points. The Dream would take an early seven-point lead in the fourth quarter before Natisha Hiedeman would score 16 points in the final quarter to give the Lynx a five-point lead with just under a minute left in the game.
