After a few days off, the Minnesota Lynx returned to Target Center on Friday night for their WNBA Paint Night matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks. During that time off, the Lynx clinched a spot in the Commissioner’s Cup Championship Game against the New York Liberty later this month.
The young Sparks are still finding their rhythm this season as they entered the game with a 4-8 record which was good for ninth in the WNBA. Minnesota was coming off of a statement win against the defending champion Las Vegas Aces and looking to continue rolling into the weekend and secure their 10th win of the season.
