In a must-win game for the Lynx, they looked to tie the series at 1-1 heading on the road and into Friday’s matchup.
Both teams came out sleepwalking in the first quarter as neither team scored for the first minute and a half of action. Minnesota didn’t score until a Courtney Williams layup allowed the fans to sit for the first time with 6:22 left in the first. The Lynx were 0/8 before that point. Even though they broke the drought, both teams struggled to put the ball in the basket. The rotations were on point and plenty of deep shot clock heaves were sent careening off the rim.
