Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns' father, Karl Towns Sr., is reportedly considering a lawsuit against the team for an injury he suffered at the Target Center on Jan. 26.

According to Michael McCann of The Crossover, Towns Sr. suffered a leg injury when the Timberwolves mascot, Crunch, hit an empty row of seats while riding a sled, which led to the seats crashing into Towns' leg.

The elder Towns left the arena on crutches and was seen using crutches during All-Star Weekend.

Following the incident, Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press tweeted that the stunt had always been done safely previously:

I've seen Crunch slide down the arena steps for 20 years and never seen someone get hurt.
