Jordan Hill and Nemanja Bjelica spent their Wednesday afternoon off the basketball court and in the Minneapolis community.
Hill and Bjelica, along with Wolves mascot Crunch and the Book Mobile, visited Hennepin Elementary School and helped students pick out a book to read at school and at home in celebration of Timberwolves Read to Achieve Month.
“Today, we were very fortunate to have the Minnesota Timberwolves come in and work with our students and donate free books for them to take home and read,” said executive director Julie Henderson. “They got to meet the players and the mascot and they really enjoyed themselves working with the team.
