Team Canada, featuring Timberwolves Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins face off in their FIBA Americas opener against traditional power Argentina. Argentina is without many of the players that formed their "golden generation" and won an Olympic Gold Medal in 2004, but remain formidable. They are led by veteran power forward Luis Scola.
More and more talent is emerging from Canada, of course, and getting a look at Andrew Wiggins in a competitive setting after a few months of summer is something all Wolves fans are looking forward to.
