Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx kick off their long-awaited 2024 WNBA season on Tuesday night in the Emerald City, where they’ll take on the new-look Seattle Storm, who are headlined by offseason acquisitions Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith. The two teams will then hop on their respective chartered jets (!!) and travel to Minneapolis for the second leg of the home-and-home on Friday night at Target Center.
The Lynx finished their preseason 2-0, registering a commanding 92-81 win over rookie stars Kamilla Cardoso, Angel Reese and Chicago Sky at home before going on the road and completing a 17-point comeback to take down the Washington Mystics 83-77.
