Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves are set to take Luka Donu010diu0107, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals.
The matchup comes on the heels of the Wolves defeating the defending champion Denver Nuggets in seven games, capped off by a historic Game 7 comeback, while the Mavs dispatched of the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder in six games after a thrilling finish to Game 6 in Dallas.
Although the Timberwolves and Mavericks played each other four times this season, with Minnesota going 3-1, there isn’t a whole lot to take out of those games.
