New systems, new routines and new drills were put in place this fall for the first time in 16 years for the Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team.
Former Harvard associate head coach Maura Crowell became only the second head coach in program history on May 1, replacing Shannon Miller. She said her players have been willing pupils.
"There were a lot of changes," Crowell said. "Someone was here for 16 years, and someone new comes in so with that comes a whole new identity and set of values."
The Bulldogs (4-4) will be at Ridder Arena this weekend for two games against top-ranked Minnesota (6-0).
