The "Banham's Barn" blanket displayed in section 206 of Williams Arena never seemed more appropriate than it did Saturday afternoon.
Redshirt senior guard Rachel Banham commanded all the attention in Minnesota's 70-60 victory over Memphis, leading her team with 23 points and 10 rebounds the same day she was honored for breaking the school scoring record.
Banham's day started off with a standing ovation during a pregame ceremony with previous record holder Lindsay Whalen, and it ended with one as well as she dribbled out the end of the game.
"It was really cool, I love Lindsay," Banham said.
