With 3-0 loss, Gophers swept in series against Minnesota Duluth

The Gophers were swept in their series against interstate rival Minnesota Duluth, getting shut out in a 3-0 loss on Saturday night at AMSOIL Arena.

No. 13/15 Minnesota wasn't able to beat Bulldogs goalie Kasimi Kaskiuo, who made 21 saves in the win. Eric Schierhorn made 30 saves for the Gophers and took the loss.

For the second straight night, the Gophers fell behind by two goals early. No.7 Minnesota Duluth's Dominic Toninato and Karson Kuhlman scored at 5:25 and 12:01 of the first period, respectively.
