Not only has it turned out that Norwood Teague is essentially incompetent, but that the University of Minnesota hired one of those executive search outfits to find him and that they appear to have missed a key item about Teague.
The U paid a company called Parker Executive Search, out of Atlanta, $112,000 to deliver the prize back in 2012. Well, in the past couple of days, we have learned that Teague's former school, Virginia Commonwealth University, paid $125,000 to former VCU women's basketball coach Beth Cunningham to settle a gender discrimination complaint when Teague was VCU's athletic director.
