CHN Staff Report
All good things must come to an end. For Minnesota, it ended against one of its top rivals.
Minnesota had won its first 10 games, and even in these crazy times, that was something. It was the best start for the Gophers since the 1940s.
Wisconsin, which hadn't played in 36 days, was fired up and ready to go. The Badgers had their first half cut short by a couple games, when there was postponements due to a COVID-19 breakout. It had already played the previous three games before that with a shorthanded squad due to a bunch of players forced into quarantine and Dylan Holloway being away at World Juniors.
