Eric Scheid had two goals and an assist to lead Penn State past Wisconsin on Saturday and complete a weekend sweep. Junior goalie Eamon McAdam, who was returning after getting injured last weekend, made 39 saves and registered his second career assist.
“It was really nice seeing Eric play well against Wisconsin where his dad played,” Penn State coach Guy Gadowsky said of Scheid and his father, Jim. “That was pretty cool and very nice to see. I think we gave up a lot of odd-man rushes (in the second period) and Eamon had to make a lot of big saves.
