Ohio State scored four power-play goals to overtake Penn State and finish a weekend sweep in State College, 6-4.
All of the power-play goals were scored in the second period, as the game turned thanks to a series of Penn State penalties. The biggest was the 5-minute major and game misconduct to PSU's Blake Gober. The Lions actually scored a shorthanded goal during that penalty kill, but the Buckeyes came back with two more power-play goals to take a 5-3 lead.
“We battled hard tonight and all weekend. This was a great team win to get the sweep.
