Ohio State had its six-game win streak snapped Friday at the hands of Penn State. Saturday, the Buckeyes returned the favor, winning 5-1 to halt the Nittany Lions' 11-game unbeatek streak.
“The biggest thing was cleaning up a few of the mistakes we made last night and the odd man rushes we gave up last night," Ohio State coach Steve Rohlik said. "We tried to correct some things on special teams. The bottom line is our effort — we want to continue to get better. We got beat by a good hockey team last night and I think we came out here tonight and I think our guys just weren’t going to be denied.
