CHN Staff Report
Following the rare Thanksgiving night game and win, North Dakota was able to wrap up its weekend early, and in glorious fashion. The Fighting Hawks pulled away from Minnesota in the second period, then held on for a 3-2 win, completing its first sweep at Mariucci Arena since 2006-07 and running their unbeaten streak to 11.
Thursday's game was a 9-3 rout. This one figured to be closer and it was, with the Gophers even taking the early lead on a goal from Tyler Nanne.
