Minnesota scored three times in the third period to go away with a 4-1 in at Notre Dame on Saturday, and getting a split of the weekend series. A night earlier, Minnesota scored twice on a major power play in the third period to tie the game, only to have the Irish get the game winner soon thereafter.
Leon Bristedt, Michael Brodzinski, Justin Kloos and Connor Reilly scored for Minnesota while Eric Schierhorn picked up the win with 28 saves.
“We had a couple good chances, their goalie made some good saves,” Notre Dame senior Thomas DiPauli.
