Former Gophers offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover interviewed this week for the offensive line coach vacancy at Penn State, he told the Pioneer Press on Wednesday.
Limegrover was Minnesota's offensive coordinator and line coach for five seasons before being fired after the 31-21 loss to Wisconsin on Nov. 28.
Penn State coach James Franklin informally interviewed Limegrover on Monday at the national coaches convention in San Antonio, Limegrover said.
"From my meetings with Franklin, he is a thorough guy, and he wants to move quickly," Limegrover said.
Limegrover then sat down with the Nittany Lions offensive staff on Tuesday.
