The disclosure of sexual harassment of a Minneapolis Star Tribune reporter by former University of Minnesota athletics director Norwood Teague has prompted the university to reach out to other potential victims.
"We take all reports of sexual harassment very seriously and we encourage anyone else who experienced such actions to come forward," U President Eric Kaler said in a statement.
The school released Kaler's statement after the Star Tribune published a first-person account from Gophers basketball beat writer Amelia Rayno about sexual harassment from Teague.
In a written comment on the article, the U encouraged those who may have felt victimized to call the school's confidential UReport service at 1-866-294-8680 or online atureport.
