The entire landscape of the 2020-21 college basketball was upended by COVID-19, which also impacted scheduling, locations, etc. While the season is slated to start on Nov. 25, schedules have been slow to be unveiled, to the point where we still don’t have a very good idea of who the Gophers will be playing in the non-conference portion of their season, let alone conference opponents.
Minnesota previously had a couple opponents confirmed for this year, who were on the docket before the pandemic screwed everything up, so it remains to be seen if and how they are rescheduled (Mississippi State and Saint Louis, specifically).
