The Minnesota women’s gymnastics team did not fair well as a team at the Big Ten Championships on Saturday but took home some individual hardware. Lexi Ramler was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, and Ivy Lu tied for first place in the uneven bars to take home a Big Ten title. Minnesota finished in sixth place overall.
Ramler finished in fourth place in the all-around event but was impressive enough during the season to win the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. She won the Big Ten Freshman of the Week Award five times this season.
