One night after getting bombarded for eight goals in a loss, Minnesota was able to turn the tide and earn a split in Ann Arbor after a 3-2 win over Michigan on Saturday.
The loss snapped a six-game unbeaten streak by Michigan, and came despite another pair of goals from freshman Kyle Connor. Connor had a hat trick Friday, and leads the team with 11 goals and 22 points.
"I think we knew they would be a better team. (Friday) night was kinda a fluky game," Michigan senior Justin Selman said.
