Minnesota will not practice Tuesday due to positive COVID-19 tests

The University of Minnesota announced Monday evening that the football team will not practice on Tuesday as a result of presumptive positive COVID-19 tests on Monday. The program hopes to be able to return to a regular practice schedule on Wednesday.

Upon the advice of medical experts, the University of Minnesota football team will not practice on Tuesday and will conduct all meetings virtually as a result of presumptive COVID-19 positive tests Monday. The team’s goal is to return to a regular practice schedule on Wednesday in preparation for Saturday’s game at Wisconsin.
