The Minnesota Golden Gophers softball team is one win away from their first ever berth in the NCAA College World Series after a 5-3 NCAA Super Regional Game One win over LSU. Amber Fiser threw a career high 147 pitches in picking up her 30th win of the season. Maddie Houlihan was the offensive hero going 2-3 with a home run, a double, two RBI and two runs scored.
Both teams were able to put runners on base in the early innings, but could not find a way to get them home.
