The Gopher Hockey team swept all three Big Ten Stars of the Week awards after winning the Mariucci Classic last weekend. Goalie Eric Schierhorn was named the #1 star, captain Justin Kloos was named the #2 star, and sophomore Brent Gates, Jr. was named the #3 star of the week. The Gophers won the Mariucci Classic with a 5-1 win Friday over Mercyhurst, and a 4-1 win over UMass on Saturday.

Schierhorn was given the #1 star of the week after backstopping the Gophers to two victories and being named the Mariucci Classic MVP.
