The Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey team will look to bounce back from a lackluster effort against North Dakota in Las Vegas when they take on #4 Minnesota State in a home and home series this weekend. The Gophers and Mavericks will play at Mariucci Arena on Friday night and will then travel down 169 to the Verizon Center in Mankato for Saturday night’s tilt.
The Gophers lost last Saturday 3-1 to North Dakota in the US Hockey Hall of Fame Game. The Gophers got the first goal of the game early in the second period and then decided to just stop playing.
