The Big Ten has announced the All-B1G selections for the offensive side of the ball. Junior wide receiver Tyler Johnson was named first-team All-B1G by the media and second-team by the coaches.
Johnson is finishing up a record-breaking season at Minnesota. With 1,112 receiving yards, he became the Gophers’ first wide receiver to break 1,000 yards since Eric Decker in 2008. Johnson is also only the fourth wide receiver in school history to record 10 touchdown receptions in a single season. He surpassed 100 receiving yards in six games this season, which ties a school record.
