It turns out the Minnesota Golden Gophers have landed not one but two JUCO defensive tackles this afternoon, with Iowa Falls defensive tackle Keonte Schad joining Chris Daniels in committing to play for head coach P.J. Fleck and co.
Not all of the recruiting sites have had a chance to evaluate Schad, so he does not yet have a 247 Composite Rating. In high school, he was a versatile athlete for Madison East High School in Wisconsin, where he played defensive end, quarterback, outside linebacker, and offensive line at various points throughout his career.
