Minnesota Golden Gophers redshirt freshman running back Mohamed Ibrahim has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after Saturday’s performance against Ohio State.
The #B1GFootball Freshman of the Week is @GopherFootball RB Mohamed Ibrahim, who rushed for 157 yards at Ohio State, the most by a freshman RB against the Buckeyes since Penn State’s Saquon Barkley in 2015. https://t.co/EP1MSvsJkY pic.twitter.com/6ppCBUuMZb

Running behind a much improved offensive line, Ibrahim had a career game — with the caveat that he has only seen four games of action thus far in his young college career — against the Buckeyes, rushing for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
