Minnesota lost to Ohio State 28-14. With the loss, the Gophers fall to 4-5 on the season and 1-4 in Big Ten play. Until the 4th Quarter, Minnesota was unable to create much offense, which doomed the upset chance. Ohio State is still far too talented for a depleted Minnesota squad to take down. The Gophers had -12 yards in the 3rd Quarter. Sadly, that is not a typo. The Gophers went backwards over the entirety of the 3rd quarter.
There were some positives tonight. The defense played well all game. De'Vondre Campbell, Jack Lynn, and Cody Poock had a good night as a unit.
