The Minnesota Golden Gophers have agreed to wear their white uniforms for the season opener on Thursday, despite the fact that they are the home team. The decision was made to accommodate New Mexico State, whose road uniforms have not arrived yet.
No word on whether the Aggies received a tracking number for their shipment. If not, let this be a lesson learned. I, for one, am shocked that New Mexico State — the home of AggieVision, your favorite 20th Century sports broadcast — would be susceptible to a snafu like this.
