The Gopher running back room has been in rough shape this year. Injuries have decimated the depth chart but to the coaching staff’s credit, this was fortunately a very deep and talented room.
- Mohamed Ibrahim - the returning Big Ten running back of the year who looked to be in top form before being lost for the season near the end of the Ohio State game.
- Trey Potts - stepped right in for Ibrahim and was having an All-Big Ten caliber season rushing for 552 yards and 6 touchdowns in 5 games before having a serious medical issue that is forcing him to miss the rest of the season, perhaps his career.
