TCU scored a season-low 30 points against Minnesota last season.
And that's giving Minnesota some confidence heading into next week's season opener when the teams play Sept. 3.
"If we are sharp and on our game, I expect ourselves to have a chance to win in the fourth quarter," defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys said to twin cities.com.
Last season in Ft. Worth, TCU led 24-0 at halftime and quarterback Trevone Boykin threw for 258 yards and ran for another 92.
