Minnesota athletic director Norwood Teague has resigned over sexual harassment charges, the school confirmed today.
In an email distributed on campus, school president Eric Kaler said that the resignation followed "the report of two recent incidents of sexual harassment of two non-student University employees."
Kaler said he will address the situation in a news conference later today.
Teague had been the Big Ten's representative on the Division I Men's Ice Hockey Committee.
In an exchange with KARE 11 in Minneapolis, Teague said, "I had too much to drink and sent inappropriate texts.
