One of the primary offseason needs for the Minnesota Golden Gophers basketball is to add some depth to the frontcourt. The graduation of Jordan Murphy leaves a massive hole at power forward and then the loss of Matz Stockman leaves even more minutes to be backfilled.
Sam Freeman was added to the class last week and he will certainly add some depth in the frontcourt as a true freshman. But today the Gopher got a commitment from a graduate transfer from Drexel. Alihan Demir has left the Dragon program and decided to become a Golden Gopher.
