Defensemen Megan Wolfe and Lee Stecklein scored third-period goals Sunday as the third-ranked Gophers women rallied for a 2-1 win over Minnesota State Mankato at Ridder Arena and a sweep of their weekend series.
Stecklein scored the tying goal on a power play at 6:22 of the third period and Wolfe got her second straight game-winner with 7:33 remaining for Minnesota (20-3-0, 15-3-0 WCHA).
Kelly Pannek found Wolfe at the top of the slot, where she ripped a slap shot past Mankato's Brianna Quade, who had a busy afternoon in goal with 48 saves compared to just seven for Minnesota's Sidney Peters.
