Cara Piazza and Dani Cameranesi scored goals Saturday to give the Gophers a 2-1 win at Minnesota State Mankato and a sweep of their two-game weekend series.
Goalie Sidney Peters made 15 saves to improve to 4-0 on the season for No. 3 Minnesota (15-1, 11-1 WCHA), which outshot the Mavericks 31-16.
Piazza gave the Gophers a 1-0 lead at 11:05 of the opening period when she scored her eighth goal of the season off a feed from Kelly Pannek, who extended her team-best point streak to 18 games.
Hannah Davidson got Mankato (2-15-1, 0-14-0) even with a power-play goal at 10:17 of the second period.
