Jerritt Elliott loves his University of Texas volleyball team for a lot of reasons, but at least partly because the women he coaches, well, they give him a hard time.
Even in the best of times.
And these days definitely qualify as such since third-seeded Texas (29-2) is preparing for its seventh NCAA tournament Final Four appearance in eight years against No. 2 seed Minnesota (30-4). They meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in Omaha, Neb.
"This is one of my favorite teams since I've been here," said senior outside hitter Amy Neal. "Everybody's actually good friends.
