The University of Minnesota soccer team chose the word "unbreakable" as its mantra and Twitter hashtag for the season.
The Gophers lived up to the label Friday night, scoring four second-half goals in a 5-0 win over South Dakota State in a first-round NCAA women's tournament match at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.
Taylor Stainbrook scored twice and Josee Stiever and Julianna Gernes added goals as Minnesota (12-6-3) won its first game since Oct. 11, snapping a five-game winless streak.
"We want to be consistent (and) all the things that are built into 'unbreakable,' " Stainbrook said.
