Gophers run away from Purdue, 41-13

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Gophers broke their touchdown-less streak at 18 drives in the second quarter Saturday and led Purdue 10-6 at halftime at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Mitch Leidner scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak, capping a 6-play, 37-yard drive.

The score was set up by an interception by cornerback Jalen Myrick and a 23-yard run by Shannon Brooks to the Purdue 1.

Minnesota (3-2, 0-1) was shut out by Northwestern last week and hadn't scored since the game-winning drive against Ohio on Sept. 26. The Gophers were held without a touchdown on the opening five drives Saturday.
