Justin Kloos had four points and Hudson Fasching added a pair of short-handed goals Saturday as the Gophers exploded for a 7-1 win at Penn State.
The seven goals and six-goal margin of victory were season highs for Minnesota (9-10, 4-2 Big Ten), which had 11 players with at least one point.
Nick Seeler had a pair of assists for the Gophers, who jumped out to a 2-0 lead on first-period goals by Leon Bristedt and Fasching, the latter coming on a Penn State power play.
Tyler Sheehy scored his eighth goal of the year at 2:29 of the second period to make it a 3-0 game, and the Gophers blew it open with four goals in the third.
