The University of Minnesota is providing interim athletics director Beth Goetz an annualized pay raise of $95,000 for taking over the duties of Norwood Teague, who resigned as AD amidst a sexual harassment investigation last week.
Goetz, formerly a deputy AD and senior woman's administrator, had a base annual salary of $170,800 before she took on the new role, which is effective until Dec. 31, 2015 or "until such time as we are able to complete a national search and a new leader is in place," according to a letter to Goetz from University President Eric Kaler last Friday.
