IOWA CITY -- Gophers running back Rodney Smith was added Saturday to a long list of players to miss games with injury this season.
Including the 40-35 loss to No. 5 Iowa, the Gophers have had 24 contributing players miss a combined 94 games this season.
Smith rolled his ankle in the 28-14 loss to Ohio State on Nov. 7. The Gophers' leading rusher, who has 133 rushes for 550 yards and one touchdown, warmed up with the second team but never took a snap.
