It could be easy to get lost in the Gophers' crowded wide receiver corps.
Returnees KJ Maye and Drew Wolitarsky have received the most snaps in games, while freshmen such as Melvin Holland, Jeff Jones and Rashad Still have received early praise in fall camp.
But don't forget about sophomore Eric Carter; the Gophers coaches haven't.
"He is the last thing from getting lost in the shuffle," Gophers offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover said.
During fall camp last year, however, Limegrover was concerned about whether Carter would be able to contribute.
"I was so down on Eric Carter," Limegrover said.
