Gophers offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover said it's beneficial to the team's play calling to have quarterbacks coach Jim Zebrowski next to him in the coaches' box during games.
Zebrowski moved to the box for Saturday's 27-24 win over Ohio. Instead of Limegrover having to speak with Zebrowski over their headsets, they can communicate more efficiently sitting next to each other.
"If there's something he really likes in the pass game, he'll slide it over, he'll point at it and go, 'We need to hit this as quickly as we can,' " Limegrover said.
The quick advancement of offensive graduate assistant Adam Weber, a record-setting former Gophers quarterback, made Zebrowski's move possible.
