CHICAGO -- Iowa senior center Austin Blythe said the 51-14 beatdown the Hawkeyes received from Minnesota at TCF Bank Stadium was their most disappointing loss last season.
"Definitely No. 1," Blythe said. "I remember talking with my dad immediately after the game. I was embarrassed. I think that a lot of guys in the locker room were embarrassed. If you are anything but embarrassed, you should stop playing."
After Iowa took a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter, Minnesota scored 51 unanswered points to win the Floyd of Rosedale rivalry trophy for the first time since 2011.
