Gophers football: Damarius Travis 'very questionable' for Saturday

Senior safety Damarius Travis, who has not missed a game in his Gophers career, is "very questionable" to play Saturday against Colorado State, coach Jerry Kill said Wednesday.

Travis limped off the field in the fourth quarter last Thursday against Texas Christian. He had a team-high 10 total tackles in the 23-17 loss to TCU.

Travis has played in 40 consecutive games and has been paired with senior Antonio Johnson in the back of the Gophers' lauded secondary, which includes cornerbacks Eric Murray and Briean Boddy-Calhoun.

"There are about three or four (players) on defense that got to get healed up," Kill said, without elaborating.
