Gophers coach Richard Pitino picked up his second commitment this week, with four-star Southwest Christian Academy (Ark.) power forward Eric Curry announcing Wednesday he'll play for the University of Minnesota next season.
Curry, who narrowed his list down to Minnesota, Iowa State and Arkansas, was sold on Pitino and the team after his official visit the week of Sept. 3.
"Everything from the current players there and the coaching staff and the fanbase," Curry said to the Pioneer Press. "And how well I fit in their system."
Scout.com recruiting analyst Evan Daniels first reported Curry's commitment early Wednesday morning.
