Gophers freshman point guard Kevin Dorsey is expected to miss Wednesday's game against Milwaukee because of a foot injury, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
Dorsey missed the second half of last Wednesday's 70-52 victory over Chicago State, suffering a bruised left heel while landing awkwardly after being fouled on a layup in the first half. He only played three minutes.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Dorsey, who is averaging 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists this season, could be back for the Dec. 30 Big Ten opener at Ohio State.
The Gophers' most high-profile recruit in the 2015 class, Dorsey had two of his best games in a pair of disappointing home losses.
